The LoadFlow_DCTerms table is a network case table that defines the parameters of the DC connections between buses. These devices will be economically optimized to minimize system product costs between the upper and lower limits. These devices are assumed to be ideal; as such they are expected to maintain terminal voltages at 1.0 pu. Real losses are calculated based on this assumption. The DC Lines nodal input table can be used to override loss factors and/or upper and lower limits for the devices.
When the Network Case Input File (.alfc) is created, via the Convert .RAW to .ALFC button, Aurora will read in DC lines and apply the 'Control Mode' as follows:
Blocked - will have limits set to zero
