Description: | Fixed (or embedded) generation at the node |
Node Fixed Generation represents embedded generation at the node i.e. generation for load 'behind the meter' and therefore not explicitly modeled. Fixed Generation does not represent an injection to the network since it is net zero generation/load. Instead it adds to the reported Generation and Load at the node and the Region and/or Zone the node belongs to. Fixed Generation does not affect Customer Load and therefore has no effect on prices.
NOTE: If you want to model a fixed amount of generation as a net injection to the network and do not want to use a Generator object, you can combine Fixed Generation with equal-and-opposite (negative) Fixed Load (which is counted in the supply balance) and the effect is additional Generation in the system.
