Region Price as an input is the price paid to Generators in the Region. Defining Price as an input adds the following terms to the objective function of the simulation:
\begin{equation} \text{Maximize} \sum_{ i \in \href{Region.Generators.html}{\text{Generators}}} \text{Price} \times \href{Generator.Generation.html}{\text{Generation}} \end{equation}i.e. the simulator will seek to maximize the Generator Net Profit given this defined energy Price.
Region Price as an output is the price paid by Load in the Region. How this is computed is controlled by the Load Settlement Model setting.
