Region Constraints Import Capacity Built Coefficient is the left-hand side coefficient of the total Region Import Capacity built from the start of the horizon up to the current period in the constraint.

With the coefficient represented by a_(i,j) the following term is added to the formulation:

... + a_(i,j) × ∑ ( t = 1, k ) ∑ ( Region Importing Lines ) ( Max Flow × Units Built _t ) - ∑ ( Region Exporting Lines ) ( Min Flow × Units Built _t ) ... {≤, ≥, =} b_j

where:
k is the current period e.g. year of the simulation.
