This option allows ST Schedule to skip simulation steps (defined by Horizon Chrono Step Type and Chrono Step Count) at regular intervals in order to provide a 'quick and dirty' solution in less time. The first step is always solved, then the defined number of steps are skipped with those steps repeating the solution of the last solved step. For example if Step Skipping equals three, the first step is solved and steps two through four copy the solution from that step and step five is solved, and so on.
