The Settlement formula depends on the type of Transmission Right being modelled.

For financial transmission rights (FTR) the settlement is:

Settlement = (Source Price - Sink Price) x Quantity

For settlement residue auction (SRA) the settlement is:

Settlement = (Rental Share x Line Rental), for flows in the reference direction Settlement = (Rental Back Share x Line Rental), for flows in the counter-reference direction
