LT Plan Optimality
Units: | - |
Default Value: | 2 |
Validation Rule: | In (0,1,2) |
Description: | LT Plan integerization scheme. |
Detail: |
LT Plan Optimality switches between linear and integer solution modes. The attribute can take the following values:
- linear (value = 0)
- LT Plan solves only the linear relaxation of the capacity expansion formulation. This can result in partial build/retire decisions.
- integer optimal (value = 2)
- The capacity expansion problem is solved to integer optimal with the integer constraints enforced over the Integerization Horizon. Build and retire decisions will take integer values.
The linear case has the advantage that capacity prices are consistent with the marginal build decisions.
