Vehicle Efficiency is the energy efficiency of the electric vehicle in terms of energy usage from the battery and distance travelled. Efficiency is defined as:
Efficiency = Energy Consumed / Distance Travelled
In the metric system this is measured in watt-hours per kilometre (Wh/km) and Imperial US it is measured in watt-hours per mile (Wh/m).
This efficiency relates to the vehicle and battery system only and does not factor in charging efficiency.
As output Efficiency reports the energy consumed per unit of distance travelled.
