The Custom Icons feature of PLEXOS Cloud empowers users with the ability to select and customize icons for their Classes and Categories. By utilizing the Icon Palette, they are no longer restricted to pre-defined or generic icons. Instead, they have the freedom to choose and customize icons that perfectly align with their preferences.
NOTE: It is important to note that when changing the icon, the modification applies to the entire study and is not limited to individual users. This means that the updated icon will be visible to all users who have access to that particular study.
To Customize your icons, please follow the steps below -
1. Go to DATA and then click SETUP
2. From the main menu with Setup, click on the icon that you want to change. For example, take the Generator class as shown in the image below:
3. By clicking on the Generator icon, it will open the Icons Palette.
4. You can only select one option from the Icons Palette. Once you select an icon, it will replace the previous generator icon on Map for Data->Setup and Solutions->Map view screen
5. After clicking on Save, the changed icon will be updated on the Map on the Solutions and Setup pages.
6. You can also update the icon for all the Categories defined for any class by following the same steps explained above.
NOTE: The ability to search for an icon for a specific Class or Category is also available with Icon Palette.
This search functionality is based on the icon names. To find a desired icon, simply type its name in the search bar located above the Icons Palette. For a visual demonstration, please refer to the GIF below.
