Description:A flag indicating if this is a unmapped resource bus

This is a Beta feature for users to try in PLEXOS 11R02.

Node Unmapped Resource Bus allows users to designate a node as an unmapped resource node, thereby ensuring that resources without predefined nodal locations can still participate in dispatch, while considering future load growth.

A typical use-case is long-term price forecasting, wherein a regional LT plan is first used to determine when and where to build new resources. However, as these new resources have undetermined locations within a region, during the ST phase it is necessary to map them to a designated unmapped resource node. This allows PLEXOS to account for the power generated by newly built resources, while considering future load growth.

How to enable and use this feature:

A brief note on what goes on behind the scenes is warranted. At the end of the MT phase, PLEXOS calculates the total generation from unmapped resources, which is then subtracted from the regional load during the initialization of the ST phase. The unmapped resource node is then internally disabled for the duration of the ST phase.
