Region Uniform Pricing Pumped Storage Price Setting is a flag that controls how pump storage generation is treated in the Uniform Pricing calculation. It can take the following values:

False (value = 0)

Pump storage generators cannot set the single market price (SMP). In this case their generation is "frozen" at optimal levels while the SMP is calculated.

True (value = -1)

Pump storage generators can set the single market price, thus their dispatch is allowed to vary during the SMP calculation.

Note that in the first case both generation and pump load are frozen. This ensures that pump load does not set the SMP.
