Independent Unit Column

This column contains the ID of the resource or resource group defined as an independent unit. This unit is tied to a dependent resource based on the independent condition. The number of independent resources within a dependency set is unlimited. A dependent unit that is pointing to a resource dependency set cannot also be defined as an independent resource in a dependency set unless commitment optimization is being used.
For resource groups, prefix the ID with rg_, for example rg_Group1. When resource groups are used the Expression created uses

OR to join the resources for Independent Condition = Not Full Output, Not Committed, and Unavailable (if any member of the resource group is not committed/at full output/available then the statement is considered true),

AND to join the resources for Independent Condition = Full Output, Output > 0, and Available (if any member of the resource group is not committed/at full output/available, then the statement is considered false).
NOTE: For all Independent Conditions except Availability or Unavailable, the model essentially ignores resources that have zero capability in a given hour.
