Event Column

This column defines whether the information for the record marks that the resources was Avail (available) or Outage (on outage).

• An Outage event and its duration represents the time to repair (the average length of each of these events over a sufficient study period and number of risk iterations should converge to the input mean repair time or MTTR).

• An Avail event and its duration represents the time to fail or time between outage events (the average length of each of these events over a sufficient study period and number of risk iterations should converge to the input mean time to fail or MTTF).
