The activity on a Constraint is the sum of all left-hand side terms. In the case where the constraint is binding the Activity will equal the right-hand side. When the constraint is Slack the Activity will be less than the right-hand side for less-than-or-equal-to constraints and more than right-hand-side for greater-than-or-equal-to constraints. There is never slack on equality constraints. When the constraint has Violation the Activity will be greater than the right-hand side for less-than-or-equal-to constraints and less than right-hand-side for greater-than-or-equal-to constraints. Activity may be above or below the right-hand side when an equality constraint is violated.
