Gas Demand Gas Nodes Demand Participation Factor is the proportion of gas Demand that occurs at the Gas Node.
If the Gas Demand is connected to one Gas Node the default value for the participation factor is one, otherwise the default value is zero i.e. if you connect a Gas Demand to multiple Gas Nodes you should set these participation factors to non-zero values.
