Detail:

Data File Downscaling Method is the method used to downscale data e.g. from 5-minute to hourly resolution. The setting can take the following values:

Auto (value = -1): Integer-type input values are downscaled using the "Last" method (see below), continuous values are downscaled using the "Average" method.
Average (value = 0): The simple average of the higher resolution data is calculated e.g. each hour will use the average 5-minute value. This method is suitable for properties such as Region Load when the emphasis is on obtaining the correct energy total.
First (value = 1): The first value is taken e.g. the first 5-minute value in each original interval.
Last (value = 2): The last value is taken e.g. the last 5-minute value in each original interval. This method is suitable for properties such as Region Load or Generator Fixed Load where the actual end-of-period value is important.
Max (value = 3): The maximum value is taken in each original interval.
Min (value = 4): The minimum value is taken in each original period.
