Apply As True Cost Column
Column Type = Boolean
The optional Apply As True Cost column determines how the model will use the shadow price from the LDC solve in the chronological study solve. When set to True, this value tells the model to treat the shadow price from the constraint logic as a true cost for resources participating in the constraint. It will change the cost calculation and final reported Value of the resources in the constraint, and it will not be part of the Constraint_Shadow value in the Resource output table.
It affects costs in the following ways:
- Emission Constraints - this will affect the emission cost calculation for the resource
- Energy Min, Energy Max, and Emission Rate Constraints - this will affect the Variable_O&M_Cost (reported in the Variable_OM_Cost_Aux2 output column)
- Fuel constraints - this will affect the fuel costs for the resource
