Initial Contents
Column Type = Text
The Initial Contents column is used to assign the initial storage content of the storage resource at the beginning of the study. This value is input as a fraction and is multiplied by the Maximum Storage value to get initial contents. The value used here should reflect expected storage contents at midnight on the first Sunday of the first month of the study.
Example:
Initial Content at half (0.5) with Maximum Storage Value of 10,000 MWh.
0.5 * 10,000 = 5,000 MW initial storage content
NOTE: The Maximum Storage value column must be used in conjunction with this column. If user has input in the Initial Contents column but the Maximum Storage value column is blank (or 0), no initial storage content value will be applied.
