Storage Control Type Column

The Storage Control Type column specifies the criteria to be used in scheduling the generation available for a given storage unit. The options are:

Price (or NULL) - The default control method is to use the price series in the pre-forecast and schedule discretionary generation energy in the highest set of hours in that week ahead forecast.

Demand - Will target generation for the highest demand hours of the week in the zone.

DemandNetMR - Will shape to zone demand net of the zone's must-run energy from non-commitment units.

PoolDemand - Will target generation for the highest demand hours of the week in the pool.

PoolDemandNetMR - Will shape to pool demand net of the pool's must-run energy from non-commitment units.
NOTE: If the FUEL reference is specified for this variable the value in the Fuel Table will be applied.
