Description: | Load point for use with multi-band Max Ramp Down constraints |
Generator Ramp Down Point is a multi-band property that defines the load point for use with multi-band Max Ramp Down constraints. These should be defined with equal number of bands of Max Ramp Down as in the following example. The ramp limit in the band applies up to the point defined in the band.
Example:
Property | Value | Units | Band |
---|---|---|---|
Max Capacity | 1000 | MW | 1 |
Max Ramp Down | 2 | MW/min. | 1 |
Max Ramp Down | 3 | MW/min. | 2 |
Max Ramp Down | 3.5 | MW/min. | 3 |
Max Ramp Down | 2 | MW/min. | 4 |
Ramp Down Point | 250 | MW/min. | 1 |
Ramp Down Point | 500 | MW/min. | 2 |
Ramp Down Point | 750 | MW/min. | 3 |
Ramp Down Point | 1000 | MW/min. | 4 |
Max Ramp Down Penalty | 100 | $/MW | 1 |
Note that the ramp penalty is also multi-band which allows different penalties for different generation levels.
