Column Type = Text
This column defines what is entered in the Value column.
Inflow - Hourly energy inflows into the reservoir. Units = MWh
Initial Content - Content at the start of the study. If entered as a time series, the value in effect at start of study will be used. Units = MWh
Max Content - Maximum reservoir content. Units = MWh
Min Content - Minimum reservoir content. Reservoir can only be drawn below this level for losses or to meet spill requirements. Units = MWh
Min Spill - Hourly bypass spill released from the reservoir with no associated generation. The project will draft below the minimum content to meet this requirement. Units = MWh
Min Flow - Hourly minimum total release required from the reservoir. If this value is present, the spill will contribute to the total and can reduce a minimum generation constraint. Units = MWh
Loss Rate - Fraction of contents lost each hour due to factors such as leakage, evaporation, or other withdrawals. Range is 0 to 1.0.
Report - A value of TRUE will activate hourly reporting for the operation of the reservoir and will create the CompositeReservoirDetail output table.
Price Function - These records express the dispatch price of reservoir energy as a function of content. For any given dispatch hour, the content/price pairs must increase in price with decreasing content, i.e. energy is more expensive with increasing draft of the reservoir. For two adjacent curves, the price at the lower content applies to all available energy in between the two. There is no limit to the number of function entries, but it is recommended that a curve at zero always be defined. If the low content curve in any given time period is above zero, energy between that point and minimum content will not be available to the dispatch, but will be used to meet any spill targets.
