Must Take Market Index Contract Type

This contract type is used to buy or sell a specified amount of power at a price based upon a market and a fuel price. The market price can be based upon a pricing area, a hub, two hubs, or the market area for the portfolio (see the Must Take Market Price contract for more information). A Pricing Fuel and Fuel Factor should be specified.

The contract energy is determined by [Energy Max]*[Monthly Shape]*[Shape].

The contract cost is equal to [Energy]*([Market Price] + [Energy Cost]*[Cost Shape] + [Fuel Price]*[Fuel Factor]), plus any capacity charges.
