Minimum Generation Column
This optional column is used to specify the minimum level of the generation required from each resource. Accepted input are a value between 0 and 1, with the default value being 0. When a non-zero value is entered, a MW minimum generation level is calculated as [Capacity]*[Generating Availability]*[Minimum Generation]. The optimization only allows the unit to generate (discharge) at or above this level when in operation, though it can have a 0 MW generation level. The available charging levels are not directly affected by this parameter.
NOTE: Including this parameter on many storage units can increase the problem size significantly.
