When a holiday is specified for a record, Aurora will calculate the date for the holiday for each year of the study. For U.S. holidays, we use the observed date, which means if a holiday falls on Saturday, then the observed date is the Friday before. Similarly, if a holiday falls on Sunday then the observed date is the Monday after.
