Inertia Requirement Column

This is the total inertia required by the zone each period. When positive value is input and commitment optimization is used, a constraint will be added to ensure that the total inertia from all resources in the zone is greater than or equal to this value. The inertia for each resource is determined based on the Inertia Constant.
