Ignore Losses in Commitment Column (optional)

The optional Ignore Losses in Commitment column sets whether losses are disabled in the commitment solve for the region. When set to True, losses for the region will not be modeled in the commitment solve, but the final dispatch will use losses according to the selected loss method. Setting this column to True may improve run time for the commitment solve (at the expense of some loss in precision) but could be desirable for 2nd or 3rd tier regions that aren’t the primary focus of a study.
The column defaults to False, and the same value should be specified for all aggregate areas in the same region.
NOTE: This column is only used with commitment optimization and when Solve Representation = Region.
