Aggregate Area Table

The Aggregate Area table is used to specify a set of common areas/regions that define the relationship between Aurora Zones and Loadflow Areas in the loadflow case(s) used for a study. Aggregate Areas provide a base for data transfer from the zonal configuration to the nodal configuration. For example, all load transfer from the zonal to nodal model is done at the Aggregate Area level. The table also provides the ability to control which areas are included in the optimal power flow (OPF) solution and to define settings for  External Area Interchange logic.
