A value of OPF entered in this column will include all bus, branch and generator information for that area in the optimal power flow (OPF) solution. Any other value will omit the aggregate area from the OPF, and treat the area as external. Depending on the study solution method and the Composite Buses setting, the external area may or may not have some interaction with the solution.
