Bus Load Definition Table

The Bus Load Definition table is an optional table that can be used to assign load from a zonal Demand Collection or DSM resource to specific buses.  This can be specified by individual buses or by loadflow areas.  It is especially useful for splitting aggregated load among loadflow areas or applying a certain load shape to a specific bus.

When this table is not being used, the load for each demand bus is determined by the underlying loadflow demand values.  In each Aggregate Area, the total zonal load for each hour is passed through and distributed proportionally among demand buses based upon the PLoad_MW value in the LoadFlow_Load table.  The Bus Load Definition table can more fully control how the zonal demand—including DSM adjustments to that demand—is passed through to the individual load buses.
