Input Ramp Rates Units
This setting governs whether the percent values in the Ramp Rate and Ramp Down Rate columns in the Resources table are based on Capacity or Capability, and interpreted as per minute or per hour.
This field is referenced wherever ramp rate inputs are used, including in actual Ramp Constraints and with the Ancillary Services Logic which determines AS contribution capacity.
NOTE: When using ramp rates with the Nodal Capability, the current hour’s constraints (maximum resource capability) will be based on the previous hour’s nodal output for each zonal resource that is mapped to one or more nodal generators.
