Generator Max Down Time is the maximum number of hours a unit can be off in any commitment cycle. A unit is considered 'down' if its Generation is zero. The number of hours down is reported in the property Hours Down. Max Down Time is a static property. If it is defined dynamically (varying according to different periods), the maximum value will be used.
