This optional column is only used when Commitment Optimization is being used and the Solve representation = Region. The valid options are:
Economic - The default is Economic and when selected, Aurora will commit resources in the pool using information about expected imports and exports between itself and external pools.
None - When None is selected, then Aurora will commit without any representation of the system external to the pool (but the dispatch after commitment will still consider imports and exports).
Input - When Input is selected, the algorithm uses the net firm imports (Firm Imports – Firm Exports) as the assumed amount of net interchange with external regions for purposes of commitment for the pool.
Optimize - When Optimize is selected, Aurora performs an LP dispatch of the whole system before the commitment decisions and uses the results from that dispatch to inform each pool how much interchange to expect with other pools. Of the available options, this one will generally result in the solution with the lowest total system cost but it will also take the longest to solve.
Commitment External Representation Column
