Units: | ~ |
Mode: | Input Only |
Multi-band: | False |
Default Value: | 1E+30 |
Validation Rule: | ≥0 |
Key Property: | No |
Description: | Maximum production |
Facility Max Production (and its period-specific variants Hour, Day, Week, Month and Year) define an upper bound on the sum of Facility Production in the given time period.
A straight-forward approach to modelling a production-constrained facility (e.g. a hydro generator) is to place periodic limits on the Facility's production as in Table 1.
Property | Value | Units | Timeslice |
---|---|---|---|
Units | 1 | - | |
Max Operating Level | 250 | - | |
Max Production Month | 24000 | - | M01 |
Max Production Month | 66000 | - | M02 |
Max Production Month | 68000 | - | M03 |
Max Production Month | 63000 | - | M04 |
Max Production Month | 76000 | - | M05 |
Max Production Month | 36000 | - | M06 |
Max Production Month | 77000 | - | M07 |
Max Production Month | 46000 | - | M08 |
Max Production Month | 22000 | - | M09 |
Max Production Month | 4000 | - | M10 |
Max Production Month | 15000 | - | M11 |
Max Production Month | 8000 | - | M12 |
Note the use Max Production Month variant and time slices (patterns) to change the Production limits by each month of the year.
The simulator converts the Production constraints into Constraint objects. By default the constraints are hard i.e. no violation is allowed. If you prefer to allow violations then use the Max Production Penalty property.
