The Supplemental Area table is used to apply economic resistance to flows between loadflow or aggregate areas. Wheeling charges are applied to all branches (including DC lines and phase shifters) between areas and can be differentiated by direction. They can also be specified at the individual branch level in the Supplemental Branch table, if needed
The nodal wheeling logic will be used whenever a Supplemental Area table is selected In Study.
NOTE: With wheeling active, it is possible to see differentiation in bus marginal energy cost even with no congestion present in the system and no scheduled interchange.
NOTE: Use of nodal wheeling may impact run time.
