Normalize Demand and Hydro
This setting lets you control the normalization of hourly demand and hydro factors.
An additional row will need to be added to the Demand Escalation table. If selected, the hourly demand and hydro factors are modified so that the monthly average is exactly one. If NOT selected, no modifications are made to the input hourly demand or hydro factors computed by the hydro optimization routine. See Normalization of Demand for more information.
NOTE: If running long term optimization, then the annual factor must contain the annual average demand for the area and cannot be set to one as indicated above.
