Marginal Cost of Energy Cap
This value applies to a price cap on the Marginal Cost of Energy (MCE). Note that this price cap limits the MCE component of marginal cost pricing and will be reflected in the LMP’s of affected buses. However, this does not limit the LMP at a specific bus; bus LMP’s may be higher than this value due to losses, the marginal cost of congestion components.
This value will default to 1,000,000 if not specified here.
NOTE: This value is always in nominal dollars and does not get escalated. Value must be entered in US dollars ($) and does not allow for use with the Unit Conversion table.
