Aurora uses Custom Constraint and Custom Constraint Matrix tables to add linear constraints to the optimization problem, which solves the dispatch (LP) and commitment (MIP).
Custom Constraint Table: each line item represents one constraint and specifies the lower bound, upper bound, and relaxation properties.
Custom Constraint Matrix table: the variables with their associated coefficients are specified, so a single constraint will typically be defined with multiple records.
NOTE: When opened, this table shows a filtered view based on the areas, zones, or pools running in the study system. The User Default Quick View overrides Automatic Filters, or you can turn them off using the Project Options in the Options window.
NOTE: This logic is different than the traditional Constraint logic.
