Hydro Number Column

NOTE: This column is required for long term studies; however, new resource fuel alternatives cannot reference a Fuel of Fuel Type “Wat”, “Sto”, or “PS”. Energy Exemplar recommends populating this field with 'AREA', even though the hydro logic is not utilized, to avoid potential problems with null values.
The Hydro Number column is used to specify hydro characteristics for specific hydro resources. Any of the hydro "sets" (from the Hydro Monthly and Hydro Vectors tables) may be referenced for any hydro resource unit. Or, create a new hydro set by adding a new row in both of the Hydro tables and entering the new name/number in this column.
NOTE: If the text 'Area', 'AreaName', or 'ShortAreaName' are specified for this variable, the hydro shapes for the Area where the resource is located will be applied. In other words, text from either the Area Number, Area Name or Short Area Name columns in the Areas table can be used as Name fields in the Hydro Vectors and Hydro Monthly tables.
