Exclude From Commitment File Column
Column Type = Boolean

The optional Exclude From Commitment File column is used to determine whether a resource should be included in the Commitment File Read/Write. When set to TRUE, the resource information is not written to the commitment file. Additionally, if the resource is already in a previous solution file, when read into the simulation the commitment pattern for the resource will not be used in the run.

NOTE: Commitment Optimization must be activated in order for either of these settings to be used.

Storage Resources

This column can also be used to include the daily limits on storage operation that the commitment optimization logic uses in the storage scheduling. By default storage units are not included in the commitment file, but if this column is explicitly set to FALSE/0 for a storage plant then it will be included in the commitment file and the daily targets will be preserved. This option is only available when using the Storage Table or when Use Enhanced Storage Logic is selected.
