Demand_Side_MW Column
Units = MWa

The Demand_Side_MW column reflects the demand side generators (in average MW’s) for the area.

NOTE: Typically, Enable Demand Side Generators should be selected in the Nodal settings in Simulation Options for the most accurate reporting, however this will increase runtime for some projects.

When using the Shift Factor method and the system demand constraint is relaxed, the unserved energy (based on the MW_Mismatch values) will also be reported in this column.  In general, the unserved energy will be assigned to the Slack Bus for single slack cases and across the network to all slack buses when Distributed Slack is used.
