Net_Cost Column
Units = $/MWh
On an hourly basis for a Unit, this column shows the net cost for the resource at the reported dispatch level. If the unit is not running, no data will be reported. For a Segment, this shows the net cost of the unit up to (and including) the segment. If the segment is not running, no data will be reported.
Generally the cost includes fuel, variable O&M, and emission costs (if applicable). Variable O&M and emissions costs can be excluded from the cost calculation by unchecking the Include variable O&M costs in dispatch and Include emissions costs in dispatch check boxes in the Dispatch and Demand folder of the Simulation Options. Startup costs are excluded here, but are reported separately in the Startup_Cost column and as part of the Total_Cost_MWh column.
NOTE: This column is not reported for storage units (Fuel with Fuel Type = Storage or PS).
