Traditional Commitment

Traditional Commitment logic uses heuristics to determine the hourly unit commitment pattern. Because it is using heuristics, Traditional Commitment logic is not guaranteed to be optimal, but they are solved in a practical way that gives a good approximation. The benefit of Traditional Commitment s that it is an easier solve, so you will see shorter runtimes than with commitment optimization.
