Maximum Iterations

This specifies the maximum number of iterations the long-term study must complete. It ensures that a study will perform no more than this number of iterations. This variable can influence the precision of the study.

Energy Exemplar recommends a setting in the range of 70 to 80 for typical studies. At the very least, this value should be 10 to give the model room to converge.

If a study runs to the maximum number of iterations you should inspect the results (Average_System_Price and Average_Capacity_Credit columns in LTAvgPrice output table and/or new resource Value in ResourceYear output table) to make sure you are comfortable with the results.
