Branch and Corridor Shadow Price Cap
This value applies a $/MW price cap on branch and corridor congestion pricing. Note that this price cap limits the congestion component of marginal cost pricing and will be reflected in the LMP’s of affected buses. However, this does not limit the LMP at a specific bus; bus LMP’s may be higher than this value due to losses, the marginal cost of energy, and other congested components.
This value will default to 1,000,000 if not specified here.
This setting may also be used in conjunction with the Enforce Shadow Price Cap with Penalty Vars.
NOTE: This value is always in nominal dollars and does not get escalated. Value must be entered in US dollars ($) and does not allow for use with the Unit Conversion table.
