Custom memory tables can be created for the Hour Fuel, Hour Link Table, Hour Resource, and Hour Zone memory tables. Since the contents of these tables is user-defined their size can be significantly reduced (by default, memory tables contain all data for the selected zones).
To create a custom memory table, add the column called Custom Memory (or "Memory" or "Memory Table") to the related input table (Fuel, Link, Resources, or Zone Definition) and enter the name of the table you wish to be added to memory. In the example below, two resources will go to the “Resource CDS” table and two will go to the “My Resources” table.
As shown below, two new memory tables have been added to memory with the start of a new run.
In order to have a CDS column reference a custom memory table the table must first exist. To ensure the table is available to reference simply use the Step button on the Aurora Toolbar to step into the first hour. At this point the table should be available and you may reference it through a Reference Column as you would any other memory table. See Adding Columns to CDS Tables for more information.
Use the Change Column Reference feature in the CDS Table Right-Click Menu to reference a custom memory table from an existing CDS table column. This needs to be done for each column that you wish to change.
