Capacity Obligation Input Column (Optional)

The optional Capacity Obligation Input column is used to input the Capacity_Obligation for the portfolio directly. If specified here, and the Capacity Obligation Zone is populated, then Aurora will use the value directly as input. If this column is NULL/blank, Aurora calculates the value as [Portfolio demand at Peak Hour] * (1 + [Planning Reserve Requirement] / 100) and then subsequently multiplies by any of the Capacity Obligation Scaling Factors already specified for the zone.
NOTE: Inputs can be specified for any time period (annual, monthly, weekly, hourly or sub-hourly). For information on how to specify a time series for a variable, see Entering a Time Series.
