LTMargResLog Output Table

This table will be created for long-term runs using the Use Reserve Margin Capacity Targets option with the Capacity Diagnostic Output Level set to 3 or higher. The information in this output table is intended to support the selection of a marginal resource for capacity in long-term studies. This table reports detail on Resource Valuations (RLV) and positions ( i ) in the capacity stack at the end of all odd LT iterations. After further model changes to the resource mix on subsequent (even) LT iterations, capacity prices are adjusted and reported in the LTCapacLog output table.

NOTE: In order to promote convergence when using the "Use Reserve Margin Capacity Targets" option, the LT study algorithm alternates resource addition/retirement decisions and capacity price adjustment every other LT iteration. Resource valuation and addition/retirement decisions are considered after each odd LT iteration (1,3,5,etc.) and capacity prices are adjusted after each even LT iteration (2,4,6,etc.).
