Shape Areas
NOTE: This column can also be named "Area Number".
The Shape Areas column specifies the set of areas, zones, or demand collections whose demand will be used as the basis of the shaping of the hydro set. The value may be a specific reference to one or more demand sets or make use of two alternative system syntax options: System or System with Hydro.

Area Numbers - To specify a single area enter the Area Number located in the Areas table. To specify multiple areas, enter the group of areas desired using commas as delimiters (e.g., to specify Areas 2, 6, and 9 enter 2,6,9). The Area option must also be selected in the Demand Source row.

Zone Numbers - To specify a single zone enter the Zone ID from the Zone Definition table. To specify multiple zones, enter them using commas as delimiters (e.g., to specify Zones 2, 6, and 9 enter 2,6,9). The zone numbers are dependent on the System being run. The Zone option must also be selected in the Demand Source row.

Demand Collections - To specify a demand collection enter the ID from the Demand Collection table. To specify multiple demand collections, enter them using commas as delimiters (e.g., to specify collections HousFL and ERCOTHouston, enter HousFL,ERCOTHouston). The Demand Collection option must also be selected in the Demand Source row.

System - To shape the hydro energy in the same hydro set to the entire system demand, enter System.

System with Hydro - Finally, to obtain the hydro shape that reflects the shaping of the entire system hydro energy to the entire system demand, use System with Hydro. This last option provides the same hydro shape as that which would be obtained using the global Resource setting Use demand in all areas for hydro shaping.
